We've stayed here for 4 years. For us, a great park.
Not too shabby. It's a Christian camp site and very tame. Alcohol is not allowed, which dampens my spirits a bit (pun intended). However, it's quiet, has great clean facilities, a fantastic small lake to swim in, a playground, disc golf, and it's close to the cozy historic downtown Medina. I'd recommend it and only docked it a star for the alcohol policy, even if it's for the best.
We haven't got to camp at Pier Lon yet..but we did get a tour. I had to give a review because I was thoroughly impressed! Lorie answered all of our questions and was so kind... Bill gave us the tour and covered all the grounds with loads of helpful information. I must say thus place is very well manicured, friendly and peaceful. We hope to get a seasonal site this Fall, if not for sure in the Spring... We've cheeked out 8 campgrounds in the vicinity and this is by far the best!!
